The 2023 Masters Tournament tees off Thursday from the iconic Augusta National in Georgia.
This edition will have an extra flair to it, as a swarm of players from the rebel LIV Golf tour have descended upon the property (headlined by Cam Smith, DJ, Reed, Bubba). This marks the first time that LIV players will be eligible to compete alongside PGA Tour stars this season.
Also, welcome back Tiger Woods into the field, as the 5x Masters champion pegs it up for his 2nd start of the season.
Scottie Scheffler is the defending champion. He entered last year as one of the favorites according to oddsmakers, at +1600 odds to win (16/1).
Is this the year Rory McIlroy completes the golf grand slam? If he slips on the green jacket, he’ll become just the 6th golfer ever to win all 4 of golf’s majors in their career.
